What happens to your email address.

This notice covers the RiderLevel email list you can join on this website. The apps will have their own notice before they ship.

Who is responsible

RiderLevel is operated by wpaz.io Wojciech Pazio, a sole trader (individual business) registered in Poland at ul. Jędrzychowska 20D, 65-385 Zielona Góra, Poland, NIP 9292066015. We are the data controller for the personal data described here, and you can reach us about any of it at [email protected].

What we collect

• Your email address, when you submit the form on the home page.
• Whether you ticked the consent box, and when — we need this to show the consent was given.
• Basic delivery and engagement information generated by our email provider — whether a message was delivered, opened, or a link in it was clicked. This is standard for any email platform. We use it to see whether what we send is worth reading, never to build a profile of you and never to make an automated decision about you.
• Nothing else. No name, no location, no bike, no device or browser fingerprint, no advertising identifiers.

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third-party servers — fonts and images are served from our own domain.

What we use it for

One purpose only: sending you email marketing about RiderLevel. In practice that means:

• telling you when the app launches;
• news about what we have built and what is coming next;
• occasional offers on RiderLevel itself.

We do not use your address for anything else, we do not profile you, and we never send you other companies' marketing.

Why we are allowed to use it

Consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You tick an unticked box, we send a confirmation email, and your address is only added to the list once you click the link in it — double opt-in. If you never click, nothing happens.

That consent covers all three purposes above. It is not bundled with anything else and it is not a condition of using this site.

You can withdraw consent whenever you like: every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, or write to us. Withdrawing does not affect anything done before you withdrew.

Who else handles it

• GetResponse — our email provider. They store the list and send the messages on our instructions, as a processor under their standard data processing terms. They do not use your address for their own purposes.
• Netlify — our hosting provider. Your submission passes through a serverless function on their infrastructure on its way to GetResponse, as a processor under their standard data processing terms.

Where either provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is covered by the safeguards in their data processing terms, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not sell, rent or share your address with anyone else. We would only disclose it if the law required it of us.

How long we keep it

Until you withdraw consent. There is no fixed expiry date, because the list is ongoing rather than a one-off announcement: your address stays on it until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

One exception: when you unsubscribe we keep your address on a suppression list for as long as we operate the mailing list. That record exists solely to ensure you are not accidentally subscribed again or emailed in the future. If you request complete erasure, we will remove it, although nothing would then prevent a future signup using the same address.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct it if it is wrong;
• delete it;
• restrict or object to what we do with it;
• hand it to you, or another provider, in a portable format.

Email [email protected] and we will answer within one month. Exercising any of these rights is free. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the EU Member State where you live, work or believe the issue occurred.

Applicable law

This privacy notice is governed by the laws of Poland and, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes materially we will say so on this page and notify subscribers by email before the changes take effect. Last updated 1 August 2026.
